The devastated building acts as an icon of the negative effects of the Camorra. To this day, Neapolitans with no other options inhabit Le Vele illegally and suffer from inhumane conditions. But this resilience and strength in Neapolitans is something that is unmatched as they continue to fight for their future and against the Camorra.
